使用 UAD Helios Type 69 插件探索七零年代摇滚的黄金岁月

Helios 是一个专为录音室定制设计和制造调音台的品牌。被许多知名录音棚使用,制作了许多著名的唱片,并在摇滚史上发挥了不可磨灭的作用。

 

David Bowie、Pink Floyd、Jimi Hendrix、Led Zeppelin、The Rolling Stones、Eric Clapton、The Who、Black Sabbath、Bob Marley、The Wailers、AC/DC 等艺人/乐队均曾使用 Helios 调音台进行音乐制作。

Helios Electronic 于1969年成立,10 年后 Helios Electronics 停止运营。Helios 创始人 Swettenham 于 2000 年 4 月 9 日因癌症去世。

 

在 Helios Electronics 经营的 10 年里,生产的 Helios 控制台不到 50 台,估计其中只有 20 台完好无损,而其他控制台则被拆散、重置或克隆。Helios 调音台的稀有性,以及它们在许多著名录音中的使用,使得 Helios受到录音专业人士的追捧。

在所有生产的 Helios 调音台中,原始的“Type 69”被认为是极其具有音乐性的型号。

2007年,Universal Audio推出了 Type 69 EQ 信号处理插件,得到 Helios 正式授权。插件的更新版本于 2018 年推出,在 2024 年增加了 Native 版本。

Universal Audio找到了两个完好的 Helios Type 69 调音台,进行精心建模,还原了Lustraphone 输入变压器的 70dB 话放增益,还有经典的无源三段均衡。于是你可以得到跟 Helios Type 69 调音台一样的电阻、增益、电路等音色特征。

简单而强大的均衡器赋予丰富多彩的染色,而且绝不是中性的。它可以被推到最极端的增益设置,同时保持开放性和清晰度,极其具有音乐性。
